Check out the header in the site there's a link to Corioliss on eBay. You can find a brand new pink corioliss very cheap. To make sure check out the buyer feedback and see what people wrote him when the buy from him the corioliss. Also I found out alot of corioliss seller on eBay offer refund. so it's pretty much guarantee and save you alot of money. Please come back and tell about it.

Does anyone know how to clean the straightener?

  • At 3:42 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

There are two effective ways that I have found to clean the Iron. One, Dampen a cotton pad with rubbing alcohol and clean the Iron with this, but the best way I have found is to dampen one of those Mr. Clean Magic Eraser sponges with plain old water, turn off the iron and wait for it to cool most of the way and then wipe it down with the Magic eraser. Works great every time!!

What is the difference between the pink and the black Corioliss? I am trying to get one off ebay for my daughter and want to get the better flat iron. Thanks

  • At 8:53 PM, Blogger the-Corioliss said…

I recommend to get the pink. It's call Corioliss PRO. It's cost a little more then the black corioliss, but it is better. However the black corioliss is good as well. You can take a look on the site and read about it, also take a look at people's comments.

I purchased a pair of pink straighteners in December for a Christmas gift for my daughter. I paid £90.00 from a kiosk in a shopping center in the UK. She thought they were the best she had had. However after just 4 Months they failed to work. I have the box and receipt. Unfortunatly the kiosk has since gone and despite emails to Corioliss I have not received a reply. I am not prepared to post them back as I dont think I will see them or a replacement.
PS. I was also told that this product had a lifetime warranty.

I purchased the pink iron, so far I have no complaints.
But I do have questions regarding the corioliss wet to dry iron. Is it really safe to use this iron on wet hair without causing damage?
Is it also safe to use on all hair types, especially on someone who already have a chemical relaxer to straingher their hair permanently?
Can it be used to make curls and waves?
Is it best to use only on wet hair and not on dry hair?
    Please advise, Many Thanks.

I do not know about the wet to dry, I believe you must read the instruction before using it.

I got the Product information from corioliss website

    Corioliss - Wet to Dry

Revolutionary design created for professionals to achieve salon professional styles. Steam heat penetrates wet hair from the inside out, drying and smoothing as the moisture from the hair evaporates through special vents in the straightener. Fabulous results without causing damage to the hair.

The Corioliss wet to dry is slim, lightweight and can also be used on dry hair, for silky smooth, sleek finishes every time!
When using the Corioliss Wet to Dry Straighteners, hair has twice the protection against damaged because: there is no need to blow dry, the cuticle which lies flat when wet remains flat whilst being straightened, thereby protecting the hair shaft from heat penetration. ceramic plates ensure high even heat and smooth straightening with negative ions for a frizz free finish!

    Features
    Tourmaline ceramic plates
    Adjustable heat (variable model only)
    Maximum temperature 220
Infrared heat for long lasting style and control!
Swivel cord for ease of use.

Also includes a 1 year warranty

    Directions for use

Divide hair into equal sections (preparing to straighten the lowest sections of your hair first). Close the plates and immediately glide the straightener down the section of hair gently moving frm roots to tip. Continue to run the sections of hair between the plates until the preferred straightening and drying results are achieved!

I posted the comment regarding the faulty straighteners purchased as a Christmas gift for my daughter for £90. Well today I finally received a reply to my emails from Jade Borges Corioliss Ltd. It reads 'I am afraid that we only distributed to Merry Hill shopping centre, I can give you a phone number for one of the managers of the stalls' a name and number was supplied in the email but I have yet to receive a response. Needless to say I wont be buying any product from this company again.

    BUY IT ON EBAY!!!!
    LOOK ON EBAY MUCH CHEAPER
Hi, I went to the mall and bought the black one for 90.00, but before I did The sales person told me that they guarantee I could NOT find it ANYWHERE else cheaper. So, with that said I bought it. When I got home, I checked eBay and found the pink one for about 45.00 and the black one for 29.99 + 9.00 shipping.

There's a Corioliss booth at the mall I work at that I've stopped by for information. My good friend bought the pink iron as a gift, and I think she likes it. However, I do my homework..and I'm sorry..there's just too much false advertising. First off, the associate told both of us that there was a lifetime warranty of the product & we could return it any time if faulty. Ha! And she attempted to curl my friend's lock of hair in front of me..but to no satisfaction. Her hair is healthy & it didn't curl or straighten easily. I think the company needs to stop feeding false claims & blame the IRON not my friend's hair for bad performance.

I purchased my straitening iron about 18 months ago from a kiosk at a Southern California Mall. I was told that it came with a lifetime warranty. The kiosk is no longer at the mall and I my iron's ceramic is starting to peel. I just looked on your website only to see that there are others who were mislead about the warranty. There are many other products I could have purchased but was convinced that your product was the best and that you stand by your product by offering a “Lifetime Warranty”. I would like to have the iron exchanged.

  • At 8:55 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said…

The pink is better then the black one. If you buy it on eBay you can buy it in a reasonable price.
You have nothing to scare to buy fake. The reason the Corioliss on eBay is cheaper then in the mall is because it's cut off Salesman wage and the place rental. It's the same product that you have see in the mall or anywhere else. You can also look for a seller that sale the product with a return option. Good luck

I just wanted to say that soon enough Corioliss will be sued for their false advertisement. This company should not be selling this item unless it is only $30.00 and comes with a warranty that you are willing to stand by. When I bought my straightner at the mall, the lady tried to sell it to me for 150.. I bought it for 100, with A "NO RETURN" policy.... Hmm a little peculiar for a straightner that is supposed to be "the best" according to these people. She also tried to tell me that there was a 5 year warranty, and even wrote it on my warranty pamphlet. Yeah, that was a lie. And now that I visit this site, its obvious that many people are getting screwed over, and this company is a disgrace to all businesses. Corioliss needs to learn how to put the customer first, and follow through with their promises. Otherwise, they will be running into a lot of trouble. But for right now, I will make sure that no one I know will ever even consider buying from this company.

I am glad that I found this site. I was at the mall today and looked at the Corioliss. It's the only iron that has made my hair soft straight, frizz-free and curly all at the same time. I have very frizzy hair and have been using a ceramic flat iron on it which I love but then can never make it curl once that's been done. I was highly excited about this product but the price was $150. I didn't have the cash so she said she'd give it to me for $95. Then sort of out of the blue another lady came up, was very quick to touch my hair and spouted off about how great my hair looked and how much her friend just paid for one in the salon.Fortunately my husband brought me back to the earth and said let's check it out on the web before you spend that much. The gal at the mall also said that it had a lifetime warranty. I am so glad I listened to my husband's advice and found this website. Not sure what I will purchase now. Anyone know of a good product that gives the same results but has a better reputation?

i bought one of these and i love it! its the best. when i see people complain after they break, how long do you expect them to last with daily usage? tell me if you have used another brand and how long has that lasted? when mine breaks, i will buy a new one. just like a blow dryer, things don't last for ever.

My hair is So frizzy and this is the best thing I have found in my 50 yrs of dealing with my course, frizzy hair. I bought it off ebay for half the price of the mall one. It leaves my hair sleek and shiny. I love it! The corioliss I bought had a Lifetime Warranty card inside that says it needs to be filled out upon reciept and mailed to a UK address to validate the warranty, which is I would recommend. Kinda like the food processor warranty that came with That purchase. Ugh!

I was in the mall the other night and we stopped and looked at the Corioliss. We also were told it had a lifetime warranty after I gasped at the price of $199. "How could an iron be worth that much?" I asked. "It has a lifetime warranty. Return it anytime it breaks," was the answer. If all their sales reps are saying this, someone must be training them. I beleive that there is a good class action lawsuit here in the making. This company has blatant misadvertising. The lady at the mall reduced her price to $119 and my friend bought one. I said I would wait until I did more research. I came home and found it on e-bay for $45. Then I found this site and read all of the comments about poor performance and no life-time warranty. If you bought a Corioliss and have been told it has a lifetime warranty, do you want to go in on a class action suit?

I like many of you bought my iron in the mall. My sales rep. also told me that I had a lifetime warranty. I got the Purple Pro for about $150. We bought it on the spot because it made my hair look manageable (this is a miracle... I have really thick and frizzy hair). I still can't manage to curl my hair. So I desided to look here to find out how to do it. Now I find out that it breaks after a few months and that you can't use the warranty. That makes me mad and wish I hadn't bought on an impulse.

I almost bought the corioliss at the mall. The lady there did do a demonstration on my hair and true enough, the end results were great! My hair wasn't frizzy at all, although I have naturally straight hair anyway. I came home and saw it on Ebay and purchased it for 38 something dollars.I almost bought the flat iron at the mall but I didn't have $89 with me that day, and besides that, I didn't want to spend so much without checking it out on line first. For some reason, my results were not the same as the one I got at the mall. I am told that it is fake(what I have). I am quite torn. Don't know who or what to believe. Please help. Which ones are the "real" ones here? The ones from Ebay or the ones from the mall? And why does my hair look frizz-free after the mall demonstration, but I don't get the same result at home with the one I bought off EBAY?? Please, some honest person out there, enlighten me! I don't know who to believe.

UNFORTUNATELY LIKE MOST OF YALL I BOUGHT MY PINK CORIOLISS AT THE MALL...THEY MADE MY HAIR LOOK WONDERFUL, I HAVE WAVY FRIZZY HAIR, BUT I ALWAYS STRAIGHTEN IT WITH THE CHI, SO ITS ALWAYS STRAIGHT. SO I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER THAN THE CHI, CAUSE IT ALSO CURLED MY HAIR, THE BAD THING WAS THAT IT DOESN'T GET NEARLY HOT ENOUGH LIKE TO STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR THE WAY I LIKE IT. I GOT HOME AND AFTER TRYING IT I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! DO YOU BELIEVE IT TAKES A FREAKEN PRO TO ACTUALLY CURL IT. SO I WENT BACK TO GET MY MONEY BACK, OOOOPS NO REFUND...I TOLD HIM THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME NO REFUND BEFORE SPENDING $180. HE SAID "WE HAVE A SIGN", BUT ONLY A SIGN THAT THEY CAN SEE, AND ITS ON THE RECIPT WHICH YOU GET TO SEE AFTER YOU PAY. INSTEAD OF LISTENING TO ME HE TOLD ME I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO USE MY IRON, AND MY HAIR WAS DAMAGED WITH SPLIT ENDS....WHICH I HAD JUST GOTTEN IT CUT, SO HE WAS JUST JUSTIFYING HIS PRODUCT...NEEDLESS TO SAY THE PRODUCT GAVE ME A BIG HEADACH CAUSE IT WOULD PULL MY HAIR BY EACH STRAND. I WOULD LIE MY MONEY BACK...PLEASE!

I recently bought the black corioliss straightener and it stopped working the second day I used it. Sometimes it will turn on for a few seconds then turn off and other times it won't even turn on at all. I haven't taken it back to a kiosk yet since I bought it at the fair but I need to know where a nearby loacation is. If anyone can tell me where a close location is to LA, California it would be greatly appreciated.

For the record, I really enjoyed my brand new variable straighteners, all 2 months use!

Yeah I bought a set of straighteners in the USA too. 3 months later they aren't working properly. Corioliss UK have the WORST customer relations service I have EVER dealt with. I would be a good idea if someone checked the emails & then replied to them. If they are a supposed "international" company, they should have a better returns policy with the distributors world wide (so much for standing behind their product). I live in New Zealand & the NZ distributor won't replace them for me - surely they all come from the same factory in Korea...

When the product worked it was great, but right now it is as USELESS as Corioliss's customer service.

I would like to make an official complaint, but of course no one would reply.

I've emailed the corioliss company about my problem and no response. I have had no luck from the vender in the mall in Hawaii. Is there sugesstions as to what I can do to get my straightner replaced. i have the reciept and everything, its still practicully brand new

hello. me and my friend went to the mall, and they did our hair and it turned out reallly nice, espcially thee curls. and then the so called "manager" said that it had a life time warranty. YEAYEAYEA >:[ BULL!!
and she even lowered the price from 200 to 120, just because she was there for the day, mhm YEAHH. maybe the price was already 120.
anyways. well yah and my other friend came later, and said that her and my other friend went there last time, and this other man said the same thing, but kept changing the prices. what a rip off!!
okay, and she went back home, and tried it out, it worked fine, but the thing that bothered her, was that it said NO REFUND on the reciept, and it only had a 1year warranty, and you kno,,,, what if it broked? and she would go back there cause she wen belive the life time warranty, and she would go back asking for an exchange looking like a fool, cause those dumbass` would only deny they said such things. so she went back to the mall, and bitched at the lady. and she got her money back. not quite though.. they owe her a doller. hahaha. still though.......

okay.. my friend that bought the straightner.. point of view

    ATTENTION EVERYBODY!
IT IS NOT WORTH IT BUYING THIS PIECE OF SHIT. LAST WEEK MY FRIEND AND I WAS AT THE MALL AND ONE OF THE SALES PEOPLE CALLED US OVER TO THE KIOSK SO SHE COULD DEMONSTRATE THE CORIOLISS HAIR STRAIGHTENER. SHE WAS DOING MY FRIEND LORY'S HAIR AND I HEARD HER SAY THAT IT HAD A LIFETIME WARRANTY ON IT. THE CURLS ON MY FRIEND'S HAIR TURNED OUT REALLY PRETTY AND IT EVEN MADE HER HAIR REALLY SOFT AND SMOOTH SO I WANTED TO TRY IT OUT. I SAW THE DIFFERENCE IN MY HAIR. I ENDED UP BUYING ONE. SHE SAID THE ORIGINAL PRICE WAS $200 AND SAID SHE'D GIVE ME A DISCOUNT FOR IT FOR $120. YEAH SURE. I TOLD HER I'D COME BACK CAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY ON ME. BUT SHE SAID SHE WAS THE MANAGER AND WAS HARDLY EVER THERE SO ONLY THAT DAY I COULD GET THE DISCOUNT. I ENDED UP TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT AND BOUGHT IT. BROUGHT IT HOME, TRIED IT OUT AND IT WORKED FINE. THAT SAME NIGHT I LOOKED IT UP ON THE INTERNET UNDER "CORIOLISS LIFETIME WARRANTY"... FOUND THIS SITE AND I SAW THAT PEOPLE WERE GETTING RIPPED OFF TOO. ON ONE OF THE POST I SAW THAT THE LADY SAID HER RECEIPT SAID "NO REFUND" SO I RAN TO MINES AND RIGHT THERE IN BIG BLUE LETTERS IT SAID "NO REFUND" ... I WAS SO MAD THAT I DIDN'T CARE SO I WENT BACK TO THE MALL. TALKED TO THE "MANAGER" AND SHE SAID I COULD TRY IT FOR 10 DAYS AND SHE GAVE ME HER PERSONAL NUMBER AND EVEN WROTE "LIFETIME WARRANTY" ON THE PIECE OF SHITTY PAPER SHE GAVE ME. OH WELLS, I DIDN'T EVEN WANNA HOLD IT FOR 10 DAYS SO I GOT MY MONEY BACK. BUT THEY STILL OWE ME A DOLLAR. STUPID SALESLADY SAID I PAID $125.65 WHEN I PAYED $126.65. UGH, WAS SHE BLIND? ON THE RECEIPT IT SAID $126.65. OH WELLS, I'LL JUST SAY THAT DOLLAR WAS A RENTAL FEE. HAHA. PLUS, I EVEN ASKED THE SO CALLED MANAGER... IF IT'S A LIFETIME WARRANTY, WHY ISN'T IT ON THE SITE & ON THE BROCHURE? SHE SAID ONLY PEOPLE IN HAWAII (WHERE I LIVE), GET LIFETIME WARRANTY. YEAH SURE. THAT'S SOME BULL. ANYWAYS, WORD OF ADVICE, DON'T BUY IT ON IMPULSE.

    Hi babybuu,
I'm the author of this blog,
it's not the first time I heard this kind of story.
Anyway glad you got your money back.
One of the reason for this blog is to show people that they don't need to pay for the corioliss straightener $200 or $150 or even $100, the pink straightener available to everyone on eBay for around $60 including shipping and the black straightener for even less then that. So I would said it's a fair price to pay...
p.s I'm not related in any way with this company

I bought the black straightener at the mall kiosk for $106!! And now I find it on ebay for $29!! She said she was giving me the "At cost" price of $99 plus tax and to not tell anyone that she gave it to me at that price because that is sooo low. I should've known! She even hand wrote "3 year warranty" on my receipt, but no returns. I feel soooo jipped! I'm going to go back to the mall and tell the sales person that she jipped me and that I want a refund!

THIS IS LITERALLY A PIECE OF SHIT! IT IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING YOU! I GAVE IT TO MY SISTER AND SHE SAID IT'S SO BAD. SHE NEVER USES IT ANYMORE AND IS GETTING A NEW STRAIGHTNER. I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH MONEY I SPENT ON THIS CRAP AT THE MALL. UGH. A RIP OFF. SERIOUSLY. DO NOT BUY IT. NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL!

My daughter & I were approached at the Corioliss kiosk in the Greenwood IN Mall today. What an elaborate show!! I was told about the 'life-time warranty' as long as I kept the sales receit w/her name on it,(like that was the key to return heaven). Our hair looked nice, not great, but nice. What I didn't appreciate was the extreme high pressure sales tactics that were used to drive this would-be sale home. First the salesgirl quoted a price of $250.00 for the silver, top-of-the-line model. Needless to say my jaw hit the floor! She then said that she would include a pink model for free. When I said that I would like to discuss this w/my husband, she looked surprised & blurted out, "Do you always tell him about all your purchases?" I said, "Only the ones that I feel pressured into buying!" She still wouldn't back off, so I just said that we had to go, & that I would think about it. She insisted on giving me her phone number so I would be sure to get this 'very hush-hush deal & price'! I couldn't get out of there fast enough!! Yeah right like I'm going to buy any hair product for $250.00, I wouldn't buy this thing for $20.00! I am so sick of going to this mall anymore because I'm always being 'approached' by some very irritating people selling the hair straighteners, Heelies, hair extensions, hand cream, foot cream, nail cream, good grief need I go on? I'm calling the mall office to lodge a complaint!!

I agree with whoever said that these things don't last forever so don't expect them to. About a year is the right time for most straigteners to go bad. $100 bucks a year is not a bad amount to spend on a straightener. Even then, if it breaks before the year is up, it had a 1-year warranty! It's not like they're going to agree to send you a new one for ethe rest of your life when nothing lasts that long. Get Real! You don't like it, too bad, you should have thought a little more before spending your money on it.

Also, it works great, so it is well worth the money each year

    emailed today to corioliss:

Thank you for your response. However, your response is unacceptable. I believe the franchise is a reflection of your company and thus you have some
responsibility. I'm assuming you don't let just any fly by night company sell your product. I would also assume you have some leverage you could apply to the
Franchise owner; i.e. either they sell your product with good intent and good customer service or you will no long provide them with product and support. As I
stated before - my wife was never informed about the Fanchise no return policy and the reciept with this information was put into the bag without showing her so she was not aware of the policy until we were home and opened the bag.

Becuase I believe my wife and kids are being taken advantage of I feel it is my responsibility to not
just let this pass as another "screwed by a company,
oh well attitude". Please assist resolution - get involved and demonstrate your willingness to help your customer and not just pass the buck! I look forward
    to your help.

    Regards,
    Mark

    Dear Customer

We received your mail. Unfortunately as a company we can not refund your money. You must go back to the franchise that you bought it from. Since they are the company that received your money; they are the only ones that can refund your money. You have to follow their refund policy or go to the mall management if they do not aggree to refund the product. If you have any suggestions of our products feel free to write us, and let us know.

    Sincerely,

    Corioliss US, Inc.

Comments: My wife and kids bought a red iron at South Center mall in Tukwila WA on 8/19 for $150. The iron doesn't work well; it pulls the girls hair, they've burned themselves and their hair. I would appreciate a refund; we do not want an exchange. My wife said the rep at the kiosk never explained
the no return policy or showed her the receipt with no exchange stamped on it. Since purchasing it I have searched the web and found numerous cases where this has occurred, and I think your company is at risk of seriously
damaging its reputation. When I asked for a refund the rep gave me a number to call - 206-906-9562 but it's disconnected. Please let me know how I may send the iron back and receive a refund so I do not need to escalate
    further.

    Thank you,Mark

I just recently purchased the pink corioliss irons from ebay. I wanted to know if I got the real ones because there are two differnt boxes for the irons with different designs. And also, some of the pink Corioliss plates are pink and others are gold. Is there a difference? Are there fakes being sold? My friend has the black ones and on her irons it just says Corioliss but on my irons, it says CoriolissTM. Why are there so many differences?

  • At 5:14 PM, Blogger the-Corioliss said…

Hi, I don't really belive someone faked the Corioliss, but I suggest you may go to a mall where they sell it and check which one they selling. You can also send a privte message to some other sellers in ebay and ask them.

I purchases a pink one["lifetime warranty"] @ the mall, and it just started creaking and getting crooked & soon falling apart, then one day i was trying to work with what was left of my falling aprt straightener and there was some kind of shortage and i was shocked![more than just a mild shock] and it no longer worked. i went to exchange it w/ warranty & reciept and they said nope, we can only exchange it if the plates stop heating.OK, so i bought ANOTHER 150 dollar purple one, it started doing that creaking and crooked thing again, and then i though it broke, i myself wouldnt have been able to fix it, but my boyfriend whiped out the tools and did it for me. now the purple straightener just isnt doing its job, it deosnt heat up very well.i started using my friends 30 dollar vidal sassoon straightener, and got wayy better results. cant evern remember getting such good results from the coriolis.maybe ive just been unlucky and get the crappy ones they meant to throw away, lol. well i guess purchasing a 150 dollar one will be worth it, if they exchange mine at the mall today. wish me luck, but if no luck. its better to buy a 30 dollar one and have it break down in maybe 1 year, thatn purchasing a 150 dollar 1 and having it break down, and not getting an exchange with those difficult sales people @ the mall.wich btw need too inform you more about your purchase and return.and if i cant exchange at the mall i expect a new one from contact@corioliss.com:)

    Heya,

I have bought my straightener at the mall and i am very disappointed with the quality. Unfortunately i cant get a refund for it.
Every company that stands behind its products offers refunds nowadays!!!
Now i have to live with this straightener, and i just can't figure out how to change the plugs!
The european plug is inside the 3 pin UK one, but i simply can't open it. There are no instructions given and i do not want to break it either.
Can anyone tell me how to get the european plug out of the uK plug??

    Thank you so much!

Ok, I dont know how long this has been here, but as a professional, I think the corioliss is one of the best. There is no lifetime warranty. This is a device that deals with very high temps, and therefore will not last forever. One thing I do know that is if you buy it at a kiosk, you are getting ripped off. You can get a basic model on ebay for about 25 US dollars. They go up in price from there. Look for Tourmaline Ceramic Plates and Nano Silver Technology. The Nano Silver Technology will keep the plates clean and germ free.

I purchased a corioliss in Texas (I was visiting there, I live in Canada) I found the handle on mine tends to get hot (where you hold it) I had a terrible time trying to reach this company, but finally did and she gave me an address as 116 Bethea Road Suite 414 Fayetteville, GA 30214. After reading the comments on this site, I am wondering if this is the correct address now, as the other comment listed a Falconer Road. Has anyone else had to return their product? I also am having problems with my Coriollis straightener. First off it doesn't get as hot as the ones at the mall, also I don't get the "steam" I did. After 3 years one of the plates fell out while using. I went back to the kiosk at the mall I bought it at and was told they no longer honor the warranties because they're under new management. It clearly states 5 year warranty on it. The lady at the kiosk told me it's not ceramic either, it's metal. Told her that't not what I was told and she took a piece of ceramic and SCRATCHED the pink coating down to the metal. Basically what I was sold wsn't what was used on me. I was so mad. It was still usable, I just had to be careful. I was told the company went back to israel. I went to mall management adn was told it's the same company since 2006. I'm speaking with the mall manager tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried finding a US distibutor on the Corioliss website and the closest is Canada.

I was going to buy this for my daughters and myself; however, I don't know what to do now. I am disappointed. Does this work? The lady at the mall did a demonstration on my hair, but I declined to buy it for the bargain one hundred and fifty dollars. I did my research and found one on Amazon for about over fifty percent cheaper. Do I buy this? Are there fakes? Anyway, I am very grieved by what I am reading on this site. The Bible stated that this kind of stuff would happen. Men being dishonest, etc.

I purchased the red laopard print Corioliss pro from a mall kiosk for $214 (USD) about a year and a half ago (December 2007) it has completely melted and is no longer effective. My hair gets caught because the plates are falling off of the tool. Biggest mistake to purchase from a kiosk. THey also told me a lifetime warranty! This kiosk also packed up and left the mall, seems to be a popular thing from what I have been reading. Purchased from a mall in Florida. I wish I had done my research before wasting my money. I am now trying to find a new brand I will not purchase another Corioliss, I wouldn't want another one even if it were free! The plastic melted to my hair!! P.O.S!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone know a brand that lasts longer than a YEAR and DOESN'T MELT???

I am another of the many people who were scammed into buying this poor product. They told me that it had a lifetime warranty and does not! The company is obviously training them with extremely poor work ethic and doesn't care to break the law. I would recommend anyone reading this not to buy it at ALL! I agree that there needs to be a class action suit filed against them for FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.

Also i tried to get my warrenty and it won't let me! Also a lot of their employees are liars because the person i bought it from said it was a lifetime warenty and its not. Overall rating 0.5/100 only because their products do work well. :(

Love the product, hate the kiosk...
So about a year ago I bought the black straightener at a mall kiosk that had been there for a good year, and I love the thing. It gets really hot, leaves my hair smooth and soft. I haven't had a single problem... so last week, Saturday March 27, I went to the same kiosk to look at the curling iron. I loved it and they did the same scam of it costs $300 but today because they sky is blue and the stars are aligned I'll give it to you for $150... whatever, I like the straightener so I was willing to get the curling iron... but I didn't have my debit card with me and I only had some cash, so she says I can make a payments on it over the next 3 months. I left $50... I said I have the money I will come back next week to pay the rest, an additional $100. So this morning I return, Saturday April 2, yeah 7 days later... and the kisok is GONE! And every number I call is disconnected! I was able to get ahold of the manufacturer but they can't help! Be sure not to leave your money and make sure the number work before you leave the kiosk!

    UNFAIR!
I bought a styling iron by former esense about a year ago, after i had used it 3 times the colour started to flake off. Now since I dont live in the uk i stopped using it and called the firm personally. They told me I had to contact debenhams since i had purchased it there. I contacted Debenhams and did not get any response. I waited and waited and waited and now that the year has passed ( by the way i still havent used it more than 5 times) they tell me they didnt receive the email. So i called back corioliss and they told me: you should have contacted us immediately! What a scam. They told me to speak to debenhams in the first place. Now both of them are raising their hands and pointing fingers at each other and im the one stuck with an overexpensive flatterning iron and the costs of shipping it to london and repairing it. Im sorry but i do not trust this firm anymore and i will make sure to share my experience with my friends.

It looks like alot of people bought from fakes, you can't expect it to work when it's not the real company. On their website it clearly states ONE YEAR warranty, not lifetime. Especially don't buy off sites like ebay ad expect the real deal, if the price seems too good to be true, it is.
